How we prepare each lesson
Our goal is practical, honest English reading practice for adult A2 and B1 learners.
Writing and review
English Mini Reads uses AI to help draft and check passages, vocabulary and questions. Every published lesson passes our editorial checklist for clear language, one supported answer per question, useful examples, originality and accurate labels. This is an internal editorial review, not independent CEFR certification.
Level guidance
A2 lessons prioritise familiar situations, explicit sequence and common language. B1 lessons include more connected ideas, reasons, comparisons and inference. Level labels are practical guides; learners may find individual texts easier or harder.
Fiction, explainers and dated news
Fiction is original and clearly labelled. Factual explainers and dated news link to their sources. News lessons show the date context and a factual recheck date. A source supports the facts in a lesson but does not mean the source endorses English Mini Reads.
Corrections
We correct meaningful errors, update the lesson review date and keep stable URLs where possible. To report a problem, send the lesson title or link through ourContact page.
